Thrice - Wood & Wire
“Dawn is coming. All is well, I will rejoice.”
Underrated band. Chill track referencing to death row execution.
“Girl is on my mind. Try ignore, try to unwind, but she is on my mind…”
Not only is this song my one of my absolute favourites, I also believe it is the sexiest song I have in my entire music library. Absolutely drop dead, groovy sexy. Never ever will I seize to get an eargasm from listening to this track. Personally, out of all the live version of this song that are on YouTube, this one blows them all out of the water. I friggin wish I was in that audience!
“…Eyes are in my eyes. Where I’ve been, how time flies, when she is in my eyes.”
Someday, I’ll walk away and say: “You fucking disappoint me. Maybe you’re better off this way…”
I can’t emphasize how much I love the music from A Perfect Circle. A Perfect Circle is an alternative rock group that features amazing vocals from Maynard James Keenan, who is more well known as the vocalist from Tool. Not only is his voice wonderfully intoxicating, the emotion you can hear in his voice just really brings each track together. In this song titled “Passive”, the power in his voice makes the song bloody brilliant and with that, this song really pumps me up when I’m working out. If you like what you hear, go and listen to more of their tracks or else you are really missing out!
If I turn into another
Dig me up from under what is covering
The better part of me.
I would of loved to been at this concert. Regardless, what a song this is! “Dig” is such a uplifting and liberating song. I’m never going to tire of this song.
Sing this song
Remind me that we’ll always have each other
When everything else is gone.
I wish I could find more music like this. The Black Keys are a music duo that make me want to learn more electric guitar songs and put the acoustic aside for a change. I really should get around to listening to their full albums. Anyways here is a very soulful and tender track titled, “Never Gonna Give You Up” that is basically about loving someone so desperately no matter how poorly they treat you. Happy listening!

Daniel Wesley @ Time to Laugh - June 2010
I was psyched to see this show after I heard Daniel Wesley’s song “Ooo Ohh” on a alternative rock station in my local area. The show was a great time!
