Didn’t realize how amazing this song was until I heard the live, acoustic version of it. I think I actually prefer this version over the original. I think I’m going to have to try to learn this song now.

Not only is this song my one of my absolute favourites, I also believe it is the sexiest song I have in my entire music library. Absolutely drop dead, groovy sexy. Never ever will I seize to get an eargasm from listening to this track. Personally, out of all the live version of this song that are on YouTube, this one blows them all out of the water. I friggin wish I was in that audience!

Took this photo tonight at the free show that Michou had tonight. To be honest it was the first time I heard the band and they were excellent live! I spoke to two of the band members after the show and they were really cool guys. I originally offered a handshake but they gave hugs instead haha. I love seeing Canadian artists (it’s very inspiring for me to look up to as a girl who writes songs from time to time) and it was neat to have the opportunity to speak to them. I guess that’s a bonus of being a lesser known band. Currently checking out the rest of their music and hopefully they come back through the Kingston area for another show!
Angus & Julia Stone produce some absolutely lovely tracks. I’ve listened through two of their albums and have fallen in love with the majority of the songs. However my favourite by them has to be “Jewels and Gold”. Here is them performing it in a nice little music session where they sound just as lovely as the recording.

I would of loved to been at this concert. Regardless, what a song this is! “Dig” is such a uplifting and liberating song. I’m never going to tire of this song.

Daniel Wesley @ Time to Laugh - June 2010
I was psyched to see this show after I heard Daniel Wesley’s song “Ooo Ohh” on a alternative rock station in my local area. The show was a great time!
Coldplay is one of the very few bands that can really touch my soul. They have the ability to generate any emotion out of me. Sometimes they can spread an optimistic smile across my face or move me to the point where tears stream down my face. I surely hope others can relate, or else I’m absolutely crazy.
And I know I’m dead on the surface,
But I am screaming underneath.
Anyways, I have never seen Coldplay live but I hope someday that I will get the opportunity. So here’s a live performance of “Amsterdam” from the album “A Rush of Blood to the Head”.
